Chichibunomiya Memorial, Japan

In Gotemba, a town approx. 100 km south-west of Tokyo, the commissioning of a HERZ firematic 35 wood chip system took place in Chichibunomiya Memorial Park. The park is dedicated to Prince Chichibu, the younger brother of Emperor Shōwa and a general in the Imperial Japanese Army. He is known as the prince who was instrumental in promoting Japanese sports culture. The centerpiece of the park is the second house where the Chichinomiya imperial family lived during and after the Second World War.

With an output of 35 kW, the HERZ firematic 35 provides environmentally friendly heat in a tea room and two greenhouses in the park, which are used to grow flowers.
