Red-White-Red – the colors of Austria – but this time the focus is on Latvia:In the north of the country, in the town of Ape, HERZ Baltija Ltd. modernized the heating system of the local music school this summer, converting it to an energy-efficient pellet heating system. A pelletstar-H series pellet boiler with a nominal output of 14 kW was installed, complemented by a completion package with screw discharge, a 300-liter buffer tank, and a sack silo for pellet storage as a flexible alternative to a conventional fuel storage room. A central part of the project was also the technical redesign of the boiler room by HERZ: it was planned in such a way that all technical components could be optimally integrated and safely housed.
