Even Switzerland relies on Austrian quality in the field of sustainable energy production. Together with our Swiss partner Heim AG, BINDER Energietechnik implemented a new district heating system in the municipality of Mattstetten for the utility Hohrain AG, planned by the regionally based company GUNEP AG. Previously, heating and cooling were provided decentrally via individual heaters.

To ensure efficient and reliable energy supply, a high-performance BINDER hot water boiler, type RRK1200-1650, with 1,600 kW was put into operation. The woodchip-fired boiler operates with optimized emission reduction through a multi-cyclone and dust filter. It already supplies 200 residential units as well as an industrial building. The results are convincing: operators, planners, and customers are very satisfied—and a second BINDER boiler is already planned for expansion.
