In 2020, the contract for the construction of a new administrative building for the customs office in Azerbaijan was signed. The multi-million euro construction work began in 2021. HERZ's Azerbaijani partner Alfa-R Engineering was responsible for the efficient heating and cooling supply.

HERZ balancing valves and differential pressure controllers in screwed and flanged versions were used. This combination provides the new building with energy-saving heating and cooling distribution in all rooms and the hydraulic balancing can be carried out precisely, resulting in optimum distribution of the heating and cooling capacity.
