At present, with approximately 3,500 employees and 44 production facilities worldwide, HERZ-Group is one of the leading European manufacturers of valves, fittings, circuit regulating valves, dynamic control valves and thermostatic valves for domestic, heating, air conditioning, sanitary and gas installations. In addition, HERZ is one of the leading producers of biomass boilers up to 20,000 kilowatts and manufacturers of heat pumps, as well as a producer of insulation by its subsidiary Hirsch Servo AG.

In 1896 the company, known today as HERZ Armaturen GmbH, was set up through the establishment of the valve factory Armaturenfabrik Gebauer & Lehrner gelegt.

Herzgasse in Vienna-Favoriten was the first registered office of the company, which later gave the name for the global concern.

At present, HERZ trades internationally in over 100 countries from its headquarters in Vienna/Austria. The company offers stability, reliability and continuity with a clearly defined company concept, a thoroughly integrated quality management, competent and motivated co-workers and regular personal contact on all levels.

Decades of experience as well as specialising in the fields of heating and control engineering form the basis of innovation and attractive design for our products. HERZ products cover the entire market for the HVAC industry. All HERZ products are manufactured in Europe according to the European quality standards.

Education and training are very important for HERZ. Students from vocational and technical high schools, as well as from universities of applied science and construction are frequent guests at our training centres. In education HERZ pays attention not only to the theory but also to the practical application and international network. Since HERZ co-operates with universities in both Europe and Central Asia, the company gives young people the opportunity for international exchange. Therefore HERZ operates as a service provider, as the initial and additional training increases the qualifications of the participants.
